Honorary members
Honorary members are those who have made a special contribution to the association.
For example, on May 19, 2004, G.S.B.V. Tweeslag was founded by a group of five people, and these founders made a particularly meritorious contribution, because without them, the association would not exist. Without them, we would not be able to step onto the sand every week, enjoy monthly drinks, or have the pleasure of the company of our fellow Tweeslagers. Because we are grateful for the existence of our association and want to show this, the individuals from Tweeslag's first board have been appointed as honorary members.
And on February 27, 2024, Daan van Adrichem was appointed as an honorary member of G.S.B.V. Tweeslag. This lovely Tweeslager has been a member since as far back as 2013, a year from a distant past. Since then, he has been passionately involved with the most beautiful association in Groningen. From a board year to years of support in the Advisory Board and other committees to being a confidant, Tweeslag would never have come so far without him. For all of this, we would like to express our gratitude.
