G.S.B.V. Tweeslag - English

Dear Tweeslaggers,

As the MultiMediaCie of the '23-'24 year, we will naturally strive to create fantastic editions of the "Tweetje"! Besides the association magazine, we also have the ambition to revive some old Tweeslag traditions, so stay tuned :) With this friendly group and plenty of fresh input, we are confident that this will turn out just fine.

The best way to start this introduction is, of course, with our most delightful chairman, Nick. This born president became a member of Tweeslag just this past summer, but his delegation skills are awe-inspiring. Besides pursuing his Bachelor's in Business Administration, you can often spot Nick, a true Frisian, working at Poiesz.

Every chairman needs a team, and this year Gea gets to enhance her typing skills within the MMC. Besides her Bachelor's in Psychology, there should also be room for a creative outlet, making the MMC the perfect committee. Finding the common thread in our chaotic meetings isn't always easy, but so far, it has always worked out (up until now).

The role of treasurer will be fulfilled by Maro this year. This man is known for his fondness for owls and carbonated orange juice (if you know, you know :)). Besides managing our budget, Maro also plays a huge part in setting the atmosphere!

This year, Astrid will be responsible for the section that Tweeslag has been missing for several years: the "Tweester of the Month". Astrid is by far the most enthusiastic Tweeslagger within the committee, as she approaches her personal five-year anniversary as a member this year.

The MMC wouldn't be complete without Marcella. With her creative background, she's essential for bringing a fresh perspective in her role as the chief of "Tweetje". At the moment, she's busy with her Occupational Therapy internship, which unfortunately means she'll be leaving Groningen in February for an exciting new challenge in Utrecht.

The youngest among us is Linde. This 19-year-old student of Communication and Information Sciences is also brand new to Tweeslag. After some deliberation, Linde decided to swap the indoor arena for the sand, and we couldn't agree more! Having gained experience as a lustrum chairman at her study association, she will utilize her talents this year as the chief of "Tweetje".

The final chief for "Tweetje", but certainly not the least, is Sanne. Sanne also joined Tweeslag this year with the perspective of "I'm not entirely sure what the MMC does, but impulsive decisions sometimes lead to the most enjoyable places." As an aspiring medical professional with her relaxed demeanor, Sanne will undoubtedly keep stress levels low and spirits high.
